UNIVERSITY INTAKES IN IRELAND     If you are looking to study in Europe, Ireland should be one of the countries on your list, as it is among the top 10 study abroad destinations for students and it provides one of the best education systems in the world. There are different university Intakes (Semesters) available in Ireland, knowing these intakes helps you with vital information needed for your studies. Become an international student in Ireland today and gain the following benefits.  High-quality education Great career opportunities Safety English Language development  Post-study work permit  Personal development City life and nature adventures etc However, getting an education in Ireland will be difficult without proper planning and this may result in getting rejected by an Irish university and losing all of these benefits. To study in Ireland, you should be aware of the admission intakes available as this will determine the requirements and the timeline needed to avoid rush hour.  Every year, we come across students who begin their admission process when it is getting close to the university application deadline, this is known as the rush hour. These students put their studies at a big risk as the outcome may not always be favourable. Avoid rush hour and begin your application process early, according to the university intake of your choice.  If you want to study in Ireland, the first thing you should look into are the university intakes. Irish universities offer two major intakes which are  September (Autumn/Fall) Intake  January/February (Spring) Intake    SEPTEMBER (AUTUMN/FALL) INTAKE  The autumn/Fall intake begins in September and runs till December, it is known to be the major intake at universities in Ireland. The application deadline for the fall intake is June/July. This means that by June or July, universities in Ireland stop accepting applications for students with the intent to study for the September (Fall) intake.  Students with the intention to go for the fall intake, are therefore advised to begin their application process in January/February before the June/July deadline, so as to avoid rush hour and ensure they are being granted an offer with a smooth process.   Within the periods of February, March, April and May, students are expected to complete the Admission/ Visa process.    JANUARY/FEBRUARY (SPRING) INTAKE The Spring intake begins late January and runs till  May. University intakes during this period are less, compared to the September (Fall) Intake. This intake is not carried out by every Irish University and it does not apply to all courses. Contact our agency to get full information on the courses and universities that carry out the January/February (Spring) intake.   The application deadline for the spring intake is September/October. This means that by September or October universities in Ireland stop accepting applications for students with the intent to study for the January/February (Spring) intake.  Therefore students with the intention to study during the spring intake, are advised to begin their application process in  May/June before the September/October deadline, to avoid rush hour and ensure they are being granted an offer.  Within the periods of May, June, July and August, students are expected to complete the Admission/ Visa process and await their departure dates for their studies in Ireland.    APRIL INTAKE This intake is not part of the major intakes for Irish Universities as very few universities in Ireland perform it and it is open to very few courses, like business courses. Speak with our counsellors to get full information on the courses and universities that carry out this intake.  The application deadline for the spring intake is January/February, therefore students looking to study during the April intake are advised to begin their admission process before the deadline.  The application/visa process that you as a prospective study abroad student must complete before successfully going for their studies abroad are:   Select the course and the Universities to study: As a prospective study abroad student, your opinion should be based on your interests. The courses you choose should be aligned with your study, career goals and affordability. Students in this category can go ahead to request a CAS and apply for a VISA. After an unconditional offer has been granted, payment of Tuition deposit and provision of the bank statement must be made before a student can request for a CAS (Confirmation for Acceptance of studies). Payment of tuition deposit at the bank with a ‘form A’ takes at least 2weeks, also, payment made through wired transfer takes at least 1 week.    A bank statement of 28 days should be provided by prospective UK students. However, Providing a statement of account (Bank Statement) might require one to gradually build their account within a few days or weeks in order to meet up with the stipulated amount which should contain the cost of living in the UK and the balance of the tuition fee.   After a student has been granted an unconditional offer, made a tuition deposit and provided a 28 days bank statement, the student can go ahead to request CAS (Confirmation for Acceptance of Studies) and fill out the pre CAS form. Some schools in the UK demand an interview before a CAS can be issued, this is called a Pre-CAS interview while some do not. After a student has applied for CAS, the certificate will be granted within 0 – 2 weeks.    VISA PROCESSING STAGE Contact us at Negxy Concept Limited today, to get your Visa process started. This is so because when a client comes to us with a request to study in the UK or Ireland, they come with knowledge or information gotten from either a friend or a family member that is currently studying abroad. It is important to know that the tuition deposit to be paid and the proof of funds needed is dependent on the country, the university and course of study. Great Career Fields for the Future

GREAT CAREER FIELDS FOR THE FUTURE.   There are a good number of great career fields for the future, those careers to watch out for that are likely to be the highest paying professions in years to come.  THE GUIDING LIGHT, HEROES AND LEGENDS.  At the ending of the 18th century, there was a boom in Europe and the United States, before the mid 19th century, it had spread all over the world, this boom is known as the industrial revolution.  The Industrial Revolution transformed from the old manufacturing processes like hand production methods to new manufacturing processes like machines. This revolution gave rise to others of its kind, like the technological revolution and the artistic revolution.  However, the main question is, would there have been a revolution without heroes, legends, and people that laid a pathway, a guiding light to a better world?    INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION  Have you ever imagined a world without machines or devices, a world with no source of technology? I can presume your answer to be no but guess what? This has only become possible because people like us had the desire to make the world a better place and they were born at the right time.    James D Rockefeller John Davison Rockefeller was born on July 8, 1839, and is known to be the wealthiest American of all time. He ran a business in oil refining and successfully founded the Standard Oil Company, Rockefeller gained enormous influence over the railroad industry which transported his oil around the country.   Andrew Carnegie  Andrew Carnegie was born on November 25th 1834, he is known to be one of the richest Americans in history, he led the expansion of the American steel industry.   One cannot talk about the industrial revolution without mentioning the likes of James D Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie as they were part of the prominent revolutionist of the period.  They were born between the year 1834 and 1839, and they grew during the period where there was greater economic progress through the use of railways, cheaper steel, and the increased use of steam engines.  Before this period there was limited use of steam engines as it was largely water-powered machines that were in use, but between the years of 1867 and 1914, there was a built out of railroads, large-scale iron and steel production which led to the use of steam engines, this was a better and a faster method for industries than the water-powered machines which could only be located near water. Although John D Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie were both born into a poor home, they took advantage of the time in which there were born and got involved in the development of steam engines which contributed to the Economic, Technological and Social advancement of the society.      TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION Following the rise of the Industrial Revolution is the technological revolution which resulted in an accelerated technological and digital advancement. After the invention of devices and systems, technological geniuses who were born into this era like the likes of Steve Jobs, Bill Joy, Bill gate amongst others, transformed society with their digital skills which led to rapid growth in productivity.    Steve Jobs  Steve Jobs born on February 25 1955, was the chairman, CEO and co-founder of Apple Inc. He is also widely recognized as a pioneer of the personal computer revolution along with his early business partner and fellow Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.   Bill Gate Bill Gate born in the year October 28 1955, is the co-founder of the largest personal computer software company, a multinational technology company known as Microsoft.  They were both born in the year 1955 and were fortunate to have been schooling just when the time-sharing computers started surfacing. Time-sharing systems could multiprogram and multi-tasks, unlike the previous systems that could only do one thing at a time and made coding very cumbersome, tiring and frustrating. Steve Jobs and Bill Gates fell in love with the Time-sharing systems, as it was easy to use at the time and it helped them to get their projects done faster and better. Imagine someone before this era being a tech billionaire, it makes sense? (Nigerian Lingo for asking if something makes sense).   PECULIAR EVENTS IN THIS AGE AND TIME A major US oil company suffered a cyberattack and a Ransome of $5m dollars was demanded, which they had to pay.  There have been several other incidences like this and such cases seem to be on the rise, meaning more work for those in this career field of Cyber Security. This career is and promises to be a high paying career in the future due to the high demand to fight against internet hackers as technology continues to grow.    Elon Musk, the CEO and Product Architect of Tesla, Inc is making space travel possible with his spacecraft company known as SpaceX. Also, Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon recently announced that he will be travelling to space on July 20th, 2021 he owns a space company called ‘Blue Origin’.  This could only mean more work for Aerospace Engineers, Astrologist and those in related fields. These are great careers to look out for in the future.    A lot of businesses are going digital daily and are beginning to need a different kind of marketing, meaning more work for digital marketers, coders, and others in the digital field. Take advantage of this opportunity and build a career based on its demand in society as that will ensure a great career field for the future.   Other fields that recent trends have shown may be the next big things are; Robotics Project Management Digital Content Creating and other related career fields.    LEVERAGING THIS OPPORTUNITY AS A STUDENT.  It is the 21st Century and the revolution has skyrocketed, with a solid foundation built in numerous career fields for students to get a promising profession for the future.  Ask yourself this, are you taking advantage of the period

How to Write a Personal Statement for a Master’s Programme

HOW TO WRITE A PERSONAL STATEMENT FOR A MASTER’S PROGRAMME A personal statement, also known as the statement of purpose is a special type of essay that supports your application to study at a university. It is a statement of scholarly interests and should include specific personal information about yourself, information relating to your desires toward choosing a specific course. Your personal statement should demonstrate why you are a good candidate that should get admission for a Master’s programme at your preferred university. To do so, you’ll need to write a brief essay about your experience, motivation and your previous accomplishments, with real examples and proof demonstrating who you are as a student and why you’re a good fit for the degree you’ve chosen.   QUESTIONS THAT MAY HELP YOU PLAN YOUR PERSONAL STATEMENT. Your personal statement is an invitation to the admission committee to get to know who you are; it should also be the result of a self-reflection. When writing a personal statement, you are taking the time to find out who you are and what your future aspirations should be — both in terms of what you want to study and what you want to do after graduation. Questions like this should be addressed in your personal statement:       Why do you want to study a Master’s program and how will you benefit from it?       How well does the course match your abilities?       Why would you like to study in a specific country?       How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd – for example, by work experience?       In your future career, what do you want to be/do?   What contribution may your work provide to the department/university/society? Why would you like to study in a specific school, amongst other schools that are also offering the same course?   Also, if you’re applying for a subject that isn’t in the same field as your undergraduate degree, explain why you want to change your major. Consider the following:     How your undergraduate degree will help you bring new perspectives to your course     The reasons behind your decision to switch fields of study How altering your course of study will benefit your future career   HOW TO WRITE A PERSONAL STATEMENT. STRUCTURE  LANGUAGE   STRUCTURE The structure of a personal statement must contain the following information   Have a compelling middle section and conclusion, as well as an eye-catching and fascinating introduction.   Have an introduction that serves as a framework for the rest of your statement, with the main body explaining your interests, experience, and knowledge.    It should contain a minimum of 500 words   Have no more than 25-30 words in each sentence       The conclusion should summarize your important ideas, reflect on your major achievements, and clearly demonstrate your desire to learn.   Example: INTRODUCTION I am a graduate who wishes to further her studies in the field of English Literature. I graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts, securing a Second class Upper-division from the University of Lagoon which is a leading State University in the western part. I’ve always been fascinated by a writer’s creativity, which leads me to believe that English is the best degree to study at the university.
