  • An English Level Test; IELT with grades between 6.0 – 7.0, TOEFEL ranging between 88 and 93, PTE requires an overall score that ranges between  61- 63.
  • Personal Statement statting their interests and achievements in this academic and professional course, together with the experience that they wish to attain from studying this course in Ireland.
  • It is advisable to pay the full tuition fee before applying for a visa, therefore, the  Irish officials in charge of granting admission would like to see that a student can afford to study in an Irish university. As such, a bank statement must be provided, showing the cost of living and the full tuition fees.

  • International students studying for a Nursing degree in Ireland can work while they study. They can work 20hours per week during school sessions in hospitality or as a nursing assistant.
  • After 6months of getting a Nursing degree in any prestigious university in Ireland, a student becomes a Registered Nurse. This gives a student the opportunity to earn over 35,000 euros (on average) per year, after being employed in a healthcare facility in Ireland. The salary varies, depending on the experience and role a nurse is hired to perform. The location of the healthcare facility also influences the salary.
  • There is a shortage of healthcare workers in countries like the UK, therefore, with a Nursing degree and a registered nursing status from an Irish University, a student can find suitable jobs in healthcare facilities in the UK.

The cost of studying Nursing in Ireland varies with different universities. Some Irish universities set fees considering things like the campus location and course. However, the cost of living in Ireland ranges between €7000 to €12000 depending on how the student decides to live.

The tuition fee for a Nursing degree in Ireland for International students can range between €12,000 to €30,000, depending on the course and the school.
