The Psychology (Conversion) MSc typically lasts one year, while the Adult Nursing MSc spans three years. An IELTS certificate is required to apply for these courses.

Additionally, the Global & Local Social Work MSc is a conversion course that assists students in transitioning into the health sector without the need for an IELTS certificate. This program also has a duration of one year.

 

Tuition Fees for International Students

The University of Dundee offers a range of tuition fees for international students, depending on the specific course chosen. On average, tuition fees range from £21,900 for courses such as Business Analytics and Big Data MSc and Accounting & Finance BSc to £26,600 for programs like Applied Neuroscience MSc and Biochemistry BSc.

Additionally, international students studying Islamic courses are eligible for an extra £3,000 discount, and those with alumni relatives can receive an additional £3,000 discount.

Upon admission, a tuition deposit of £5,000 is required to obtain the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) and the UK Student Visa. The remaining tuition fees can be paid in up to seven instalments, ensuring flexibility and ease of payment. 

 

Documents Needed to Apply to the University of Dundee

  • Academic Transcript:  An academic transcript must be submitted with the application. A conditional offer can be issued with a student copy until the official academic transcript is available.

  • Academic Certificate: The required academic certificate depends on the program. For undergraduate programs, the WAEC Certificate is needed. For postgraduate programs, the undergraduate certificate will suffice.

  • Reference Letters (Academic and Professional): Reference letters are required from the institution previously attended, preferably from a lecturer or teacher in the relevant department. Additionally, a professional reference letter from a current or previous workplace is needed if the applicant has work experience.
  • Statement of Purpose (SOP): The University of Dundee places significant importance on authentic Statements of Purpose. This document is a crucial factor in the admission decision. The student must demonstrate their interest in the chosen course and the university. The SOP should be original, unique, and engaging, highlighting future prospects and plans for financing the course.
  • Marriage Certificate: This applies only to married applicants.
